LONDON -(Dow Jones)- 3D graphics firm DDD Group PLC (DDD.LN) Monday said it has signed a license deal to provide its software for Sony Corp.’s (6758.TO) latest range of laptop PCs.
Under the contract–DDD’s biggest PC license to date–the company will supply its TriDef software, which converts two-dimensional graphics from games and other content into a three-dimensional display, which can be viewed without glasses.
The software will be used in Sony’s VAIO S-Series laptops.
