Can someone please tell me why since updating to Tridef Media Player 3D 4.2 that every time I select a file, a folder is made .Tridef -> Backups -> "Name of my folder" -> 123456789.TriDefinfo file. These .Tridef folders are appearing all over my hard drives whenever I have selected a folder to play a file from. Can they be just deleted?, Or for what purpose are they there for.

I opened one .TriDefinfo file in notepad and although it has a line of instruction, could the file not be made hidden as the user does not need access to it. Or all the different .Tridefinfo files put into a single folder situated out of sight for example in a TriDefinfo folder on the C: drive

Hi,
Yes it does appear that the current version is a bit enthusiastic about creating settings backup files. In fact, it should not be doing this at all in the normal course of events. Fell free to delete these directories and we will rectify this problem in the next release.
