LONDON (SHARECAST) – DDD, the AIM-listed 3D solutions firm, has signed a contract with what it claims is a leading mobile phone manufacturer.
The deal will see DDD’s software, which automatically converts video from 2D to 3D, bundled into the manufacturer’s forthcoming 3D phone, using the Android operating system.
The agreement includes a one-off $120,000 (£75,000) development and license fee but DDD will also receive quarterly royalties from the manufacturer based on the volume of 3D smartphones manufactured.
