DDD Teams With Stereographics For 3D Displays

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (January 23, 2002) - DDD Group Plc (AIM:DDD) announced today that it has signed an agreement for its TriDefTM 3D playback system to power StereoGraphics Corporation's SynthaGramTM Autostereo (glasses-free) 3D displays.

DDD's TriDef 3D System enables the SynthaGram Monitor to show 3D video content without glasses, enhancing the viewing experience for trade show and conference room presentations, entertainment and advertising, and 3D visualization. DDD will also supply 2D to 3D content conversion services, enabling any piece of footage to be converted to 3D and viewed on the SynthaGram Monitor.

The SynthaGram combines a liquid crystal display panel, lenticular screen and graphics card with software to enable viewing in Stereo3D™ without special eyewear.
